Hawaii Vacation 2006

Hawaii Vacation - June 2006

In June, 2006 we went to Hawaii so that Dad could run his first marathon! Dad trained for almost six months with the
American Stroke Association, and raised over $4,500 to support this great cause. We stayed 5 nights, and did some site seeing
while we were there.

Luau Pictures

We went to a Luau the first night in Hawaii.

What a pretty sunset!

Water fun

Anthony and Sarah had a blast playing in the hotel swimming pools as well as at the beach!

The main event - the Kona Marathon! 26.2 miles of heat and humidity!!

Here comes Dad! Sheesh, what is taking him sooo long!!!

Finally, he's done!

Snorkling trip

So, Dad thought it'd be a great idea to take Anthony snorkling! While Anthony wasn't quite ready to venture out
on his own, they still had a fun day!

The Drive

Dad made us spend a day driving around the island. We got to see a nice Waterfall, and we went to a
nature park and went on a small hike.

Our hike included a nature-maze

Wow, those are cool trees!
